Corned Venison Mr. BAM!

Postby Russman » Sun Mar 20, 2016 12:04 am

Happy st. Patrick's Day. Even though it's late and I am a Polock LOL recipe I got from a great friend. Corned venison, main things needed is Morton Tender Quick, garlic, and brown sugar. The rest I use is picking spices and juniper berries, also some hot pepper flakes. I slow bake it in the oven at 285 degrees in a tin foil tent wrapped tightly. Have tried putting Cola, beer, and Dr. Pepper. All tastes great but I think the Dr. Pepper wins out. Some oven roasted potatoes and a side of oven roasted cabbage. And you know it has to be washed down with some Heaven Hill LOL

Russman sure knows how to cook. Some of thee best corned venison hands down. Sure wish he was going to be in camp sharing/creating a meal or two. His kabobs that I often cook in camp started way back in the late 1980s salmon fishing Pulaski NY. This corned venison recipe came from a NE hunt.
