The Mosin Nagant rifle

Absolutely an interesting and iconic rifle - started 1891! Love the original, M91 and Dragoons, and the long guys. Often seen with their long bayonets (some fold out) and some claim they shoot better with them extended.

The Mosin–Nagant series of rifles. From top to bottom:
1 Mosin–Nagant M91
2 Mosin–Nagant M91 "Dragoon"
3 Mosin–Nagant M07 carbine
4 Mosin–Nagant M91/30
5 Mosin–Nagant M91/30 PU sniper
6 Mosin–Nagant M38 carbine
7 Mosin–Nagant M44 carbine
8 Mosin–Nagant M59 carbine

Solid Mauser like/design bolt action, the big bad, long produced and for good reason, Russian Rifle. Strongly suggest watching "Enemy at the Gates" about two snipers, one German, one the famous Russian sniper, Vasili Zaitsev, at the very last standing point for the Russians, the Battle of Stalingrad. As with the US independence, their's was also won with heart and mind and sniping. A movement was started. A very good movie to watch.

Wikipedia "At the beginning of the war, the Mosin–Nagant 91/30 was the standard issue weapon of Soviet troops and millions of the rifles were produced and used in World War II by the largest mobilized army in history."

3 holes, two shooters, about 25 yards, iron sights. Vasili type rifle. Shoots 6" high and I believe to the right.
